First time installation
To correctly configure the gateway, go through the configuration wizard available on the Yubii Home Center mobile app.
Start the Yubii Home Center application. Select the Add device button.
To continue, it is necessary to read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Add gateway. To begin the process of adding a gateway you are required to connect to its access point. This can be done in two ways:
- By scanning the QR code available on the housing of the gateway.
- By manually connecting to the access point provided by the gateway and entering the password read from the label on the gateway
Adding a gateway using a QR code.
If you select Scan QR code, the Yubii Home Center app will ask you for permission to take photos and record videos. Give your permission.
A screen will be displayed indicating the location on the gateway label where the QR code should be found.

Connect to a local Wi-Fi network. Select the appropriate network from the list. If the list is empty, select the refresh button. Connecting to a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will enable you to update the gateway, as well as to gain control via remote access. Skipping this step will deprive you of the possibilities described above.
You can also select manual option of connecting to the network via Connect manually button – this option is useful especially for hidden networks.
Once you have selected the appropriate Wi-Fi network, you will need to enter a password and confirm it with the next button to continue to the next configuration step. Skipping the step will deprive you of the ability to update the gateway and remotely access to control it.
If you have selected to manually connect to the gateway, you will be required to enter the SSID, security key and password
Updating the gateway software. When the gateway is connected to the Internet and a new software version is available, the update process will start automatically. This can take a few minutes.
You can skip the update process using the Skip button.
Select your location. If you have agreed to share your location, make sure your location information is correct and click Next.
If the automatic location search is unsuccessful, enter the location manually.
Set the time zone, date and units so that the gateway is correctly configured for your region.
The gateway requires a reboot to save the settings. Select the Next It will take a few minutes to restart the gateway. Stay in network coverage and wait for the connection to be restored.
After restarting the gateway and restoring the connection, set the login and password for local access. Skipping this step will leave default admin/admin settings.
Your gateway has been successfully configured. If you wish to use it via remote access, select the Next If you want to connect only in the local network you can skip this step.
If you are already logged into FIBARO/NICE ID on your device, you can connect your account to the gateway. To connect your account click Continue.
Log in to Yubii Home Center with your FIBARO/NICE ID and password. If you do not have an account, click register account.
To create an account enter your E-mail and password. The password should have at least 10 characters, upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols like !#$%. Accept the required approvals and click Sign up.
An activation link will be sent to your E-mail. Click on it to confirm your registration
Once your account has been created, you can start using your gateway. Log in to Yubii Home Center with your FIBARO/NICE ID and password.
