The Heat Controller: Use Cases

  1. Rooms with one heater. FG(BH)T-001 is installed in all rooms.
  • Each room is controlled independently.
  • It is possible to use the FGBRS-001 sensor if we want to improve the quality of the regulation.
  • Each room is controlled from the FIBARO system.

  1. Rooms with one heater. FG(BH)T is not installed in all rooms.
  • FG(BH)T-001 is installed where you want to intelligently control the temperature.
  • It is possible to use the FGBRS-001 sensor if we want to improve the quality of the regulation (only rooms with FG(BH)T-001).
  • Not every room is controlled from the FIBARO system.

  1. Rooms with more than one heater (2-3 heaters). FG(BH)T-001 is installed on all heaters.
  • All FG(BH)T-001 sensors located in one room should have the same schedule (be in the same heating zone).
  • It is recommended to use only one FGBRS-001 sensor in the room.
  • The FGBRS-001 sensor (if used) should be paired with all heads in the room in which it is located.
  • The FGBRS-001 sensor can be paired with up to three FG(BH)T-001 heads.

  1. Rooms with more than one heater (2-3 heaters). FG(BH)T-001 is not installed on all heaters.
  • It is recommended that heaters that do not have FG(BH)T-001 head have a valve set in the anti-frost mode so they do not affect the operation of FG(BH)T-001.

  1. Rooms with more than 3 heaters. FG(BH)T-001 is installed on all heaters or FG(BH)T-001 is not installed on all heaters, but there are more than 3 heaters in the room.
  • All FG(BH)T-001 sensors located in one room should have the same schedule (be in the same heating zone).
  • It is not recommended to use the FGBRS-001 sensor, as it may be exposed to heat not coming from the radiator, which is controlled by the head unpaired with this sensor.
  • If the FGBRS-001 sensor will be used you have to make sure that it is paired with FG(BH)T-001 heads whose heaters influence the temperature in the room.
  • It is recommended that heaters that do not have FG(BH)T-001 head have a valve set in the anti-frost mode so they do not affect the operation of FG(BH)T-001.

  1. The central thermostat controls the operation of the furnace. FG(BH)T-001 is installed on radiators other than the one in which the wall thermostat works.
  • FG(BH)T-001 should work only in OFF / FULL ON mode. Their only function is to turn off the heating in rooms that are used sporadically.
  • In the case of FG(BH)T-001 work, in such a configuration, using the schedule, the quality of regulation will be significantly reduced (temporary overheating or unheated rooms or lack of possibility to heat the room).

  1. The central thermostat controls the operation of the furnace. FG(BH)T-001 installed on all heaters, also on the heater located in the room in which the wall thermostat works.
  • This isn’t the recommended operating mode, because FG(BH)T-001 placed in one room with a wall thermostat will affect its operation and vice versa.

  1. The FGBRS-001 sensor isn’t placed in the same room as FG(BH)T-001 paired with this sensor.
  • This isn’t the recommended operating mode because the temperature regulation point (FGBRS-001 sensor) is located outside the operating range of the heater controlled by FG(BH)T-001.
