[HC2/HCL] Magic Scene: Toast sandwiches in the morning

Description

It’s early in the morning. You’re awake, but still sleepy and want to eat fulfilling breakfast? This is not a problem anymore. With two magic scenes your sandwich toaster will turn on and off automatically every day at the same time. You can prepare your breakfast in the evening before and enjoy your crispy toast in the morning after.
 

Requirements

1. PC or Mac,
2. FIBARO Wall Plug,
3. FIBARO Home Center Lite or Home Center 2.

Result

It will turn on your toaster connected to the Wall plug on the set time.
 

Step-by-step guide

1. Log in to your Home Center through the web browser.



2. Select Scenes from the top menu.



3. Click Add scene under the Scenes header located in the sidebar.



4. Click Add in Add Magic scene section.



5. Choose the triggering device. Drag and drop or click the Time icon. Then click Next.



6. The list of conditions will be displayed. Set up the frequency to everyday 7:40. Other dates are also available. Press Next after setting right parameter.



7. Select the event that will occur after meeting the conditions. Drag and drop or click the Wall Plug icon. Then click Next.



8. Set the action to be performed – Turn on, and press Next.



9. Type a name of the scene and assign it to a room if you want. Press Save if done.

Second scene

To create a scene which turns off Wall Plug repeat again all steps with changed action and hour (steps 6 and 8).
