[HC2/HCL] Magic Scene: Control your shutter with FIBARO Keyfob

Description

This scene allows to control your roller shutter with handy z-Wave remote control. It is a convenient and easy way to operate your home automation system.
 

Requirements

1. PC or Mac,
2. FIBARO Home Center 2 or Home Center Lite,
3. FIBARO Keyfob and Roller Shutters connected to FIBARO Home Center.

Result

Two scenes which allow you to control Roller Shutter via Keyfob. By clicking or button on your Keyfob the roller shutter will open or close.
 

Step-by-step guide

To effectively control your Roller Shutter via Keyfob you should create two Magic Scenes – one for each Keyfob’s button. button will pull up the rollers and button will close them.
 

First scene

1. Log in to your Home Center through the web browser.



2. Select Scenes from the top menu.



3. Click Add scene under the Scenes header located in the sidebar.



4. Click Add in Add Magic scene section.



5. Choose the triggering device. Drag and drop or click the KeyFob icon. Then click Next.



6. The list of conditions will be displayed. Select the button and click Next.



7. Select the device that will take action after meeting the conditions. Drag and drop or click the Roller Shutter icon. Then click Next.



8. Set the action to be performed – Close, and press Next.


 

9. Type a name of the scene and assign it to a suitable room. Press Save if done.

Second scene

1. Click Add in Add Magic scene section to add another scene.



2. Drag and drop or click the KeyFob icon again. Then click Next.



3. Select the button and click Next.



4. Drag and drop or click the same Roller Shutter icon. Then click Next.



5. Set the action to be performed – Open, and press Next.



6. Type a name of the scene and assign it to a suitable room. Press Save if done.
