Description
The Google Assistant and system work together to make devices even more convenient to use. Yubii and voice control by Google will help you to control lights, blinds, temperature, sensors, scenes and even more without lifting a finger. There won’t be a need to find your phone, use wall switches or any other remotes – just talk to your Google Assistant.
Google Assistant
The Google Assistant is a virtual assistant developed by Google that is primarily available on mobile as an app and on smart home devices, like Google Nest Audio, Google Nest Mini, Google Nest Hub and similar.
ID
ID is an account that allows you to use many services with one profile. When you join the ID account with your Google Account you allow us to share data about your Home (devices connected to the gateway) with Google. This data sharing is necessary so that Google is able to provide Google Assistant services.
Requirements
Regional accessibility and supported languages
- Smart Home (Home control) for smart home devices with Google Assistant (like Google Home) is available in the following languages:
- English (U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia),
- German (Germany),
- French(France, Canada),
- Italian,
- Spanish (Spain, Mexico),
- Portuguese (Brazil),
- Polish (only on mobile devices).
- Availability and features of the Google Assistant or Google Home app may vary depending on your region and phone settings.
Yubii Integration
Smart Home for the Google Assistant (Home control)
Smart Home taps into the engine of the Google Assistant which in turn provides the framework for voice-enabled control for your house appliances. Using native capabilities of Google Assistant regarding smart home management, users can invoke and control devices without using any custom start phrases. Just say “Hey Google, turn on the lights in the living room” to turn on the light connected to the gateway.

Activating integration in the Google Home app:
- On your mobile device, open the Google Home app.
- Tap +.
- Tap Set up device.
- Tap Works with Google.
- Search for Smart Home, then tap it.
- Click Continue.
- Log in with your NICE ID account.
- Assign rooms if required.
Activating integration in the Google Assistant app:
- On your mobile device open the Google Assistant and say “Hey Google, open Assistant settings” or go to Assistant settings.
- Tap Assistant and then Home control.
- Search for Smart Home, then tap it.
- Log in with your ID account.
- Assign rooms if required.

Google Assistant is a virtual assistant developed by Google. It is a cloud-based voice service allowing you to enjoy a number of functions such as controlling your smart home gateway or home multimedia system.
Google Home is a voice-activated speaker powered by Google Assistant. You can use voice commands to play music, get answers from Google and manage everyday tasks such as control your Home System.
You can say for example: “Ok Google/Hey Google, turn on the light.”
Or you can find on the list of actions in the Google Home or Google Assistant app.
No, just say “Ok Google/Hey Google” then tell home control command.
There are some device names that we don’t recommend. Using them increases the chances of misinterpreting your speech. Don’t use words such as “scene, light, list, turn, switch etc.” as a device name. It is also not recommended to use the same word in various names (like “kitchen” as a room and “kitchen lights” as a device).
Yes. Moreover, you can use those devices together with the Google Assistant app on your mobile devices (as long as you are connected to the same Google Account).
Home Center 3, Home Center 3 Lite, Yubii Home, Home Center 2 and Home Center Lite.
There are few things you can try:
- Make sure the device type is supported.
- Make sure you have used ID account that has ownership over the gateway.
- Go to home.fibaro.com and check in gateway details that the Integrations are set to Active.
- Update your gateway.
- Unlink and link the ID account again.

In Home Center 3/3 Lite or Yubii Home Configuration Interface:
1. Open the configuration of the device.
2. In Role field select “Light”, “Wall lamp”, “Garden lamp” or “Bedside lamp”.
3. Save configuration.
In Home Center 2/Lite configuration interface:
1. Open device configuration (wrench icon).
2. Select the Advanced tab.
3. In Controlled Device field select “Wall lamp”, “Garden lamp”, “Lighting” or “Bedside lamp”.
4. Save configuration.
This option is not available at the time. Use separated commands to successfully perform the action.
Not at the same time, you can select which gateway to use in the integration:
1. Go to home.fibaro.com.
2. Login with ID account.
3. Expand gateway you want to use.
4. Click Activate next to Integrations.
Open Google Home app and pull down the screen to refresh.
