Flood Sensor (FGBHFS-101)
FIBARO Flood Sensor is a HomeKit-enabled water detector using Bluetooth® low energy wireless technology.
The accessory alarms about flooding, whenever water is detected between its probes.
Along with detecting flooding, the accessory measures the ambient temperature.
Tampering is detected whenever the accessory is moved or casing is opened.

First launch
1. Turn the cover counter-clockwise and open it.
2. Remove the battery blocker and check if the battery is placed correctly.
The accessory will glow red – it is ready to be paired.
3. Close the cover and turn it clockwise.
4. Open the FIBARO app and tap + icon.

Reset
- Open the cover.
- Press the button 3 times then press and hold the button
- When the LED glows yellow, release the button.
- Click the button again to confirm.
Functionalities
Until the flooding does not cease, the accessory constantly beeps and blinks red signaling the alarm.
Tampering signalization is ignored during the alarm.

This parameter allows to set sensitivity of tamper detection.
The higher the value of this parameter, the higher the sensitivity.
If the installation surface is prone to vibrations, setting lower sensitivity is recommended.

There are few actions to be done:

d) If you own more than one identical accessory, use the ‘Identify’ function.
e) You may need to reset the accessory if it’s not connecting, or if it’s already connected to another home.

Open the sensor’s cover and drill a little hole in the bottom part of the casing, near the SENS1 and SENS2 terminals (under the rubber seal). Then connect and screw-on the wires to those terminals. Finally, pass the probe’s wire through the drilled hole.

a) The sensor’s cover is not closed.
b) Someone accidentally moved or lifted the sensor.
Take off the cover, remove the empty battery, insert a new one, and close the cover.
